Giving Tuesday
Today is Giving Tuesday, and we hope you’ll consider supporting Tanner Dance. Check out our Instagram for clips of our dancers in action.

CDT Ornament Exchange
It is a CDT tradition to exchange ornaments during the holiday party. This year, each class will hold their own celebration during their regular class time. Due to COVID, we won’t be serving our usual holiday buffet, but will send the dancers home with a treat. We will be sharing dance ideas with other classes via streaming, exchanging ornaments, and celebrating the end of the year together.
Please bring a winter themed ornament to exchange: 2nd/3rd grade classes on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 4th-12th grade classes on Thursday, Dec. 10. Be sure to clean your hands before wrapping your ornament in a bag or package. This year the teachers will distribute the ornaments in order to limit the spread of COVID.
Spring session will begin the week of Jan. 4, 2021.
Winter Gala
Please save the date for our Winter Gala concert and fundraiser in February 2021! With the safety of your dancers and our community in mind, we have decided to take special precautions with the performance and the traditional silent auction fundraiser. Due to COVID19 we have decided to live stream the event on Friday, February 26th, 2021. Our silent auction will be virtual as well so that you can still bid on items and support our dancers from the safety of your home.
All CDT classes will be performing in “Hope”, a concert celebrating our connections, creativity, and resiliency during this past year. Dancers are currently working on choreography in class. Detailed information about performance times will be available soon.
We need your help to ensure a successful fundraiser for our programs! Erin Koelliker, Tanner Dance’s new development specialist, is gathering items for auction right now. She would love to get your help to gather exceptional items to make our auction extra special this year. Your donation to an auction basket could be as simple as a gift card to your favorite restaurant or a weekend stay at a family property or time share. Lessons that can be done virtually like drawing or music would also be a great addition given the need for social distancing right now.
Our even numbered CDT classes will be assembling baskets this year and we would love to make them sensational. Bring your fun ideas and items to your class coordinator so we can make each basket unique.
