CDT Dancer + Parent Meeting – Thursday, Aug. 19

We have combined our CDT dancer meeting with our parent meeting this year. The meeting will be held on Thursday, August 19 from 5:15 – 7:00 PM at Tanner Dance (this is different than the time we published in the spring). It is very important that everyone attend as there are some exciting changes happening this year including added performance opportunities and a new attendance policy.

*This meeting will replace the parent meeting originally scheduled for September 7.

Free parking will be available in the Tanner Dance lot and on the top floor of the parking garage during the meeting. Please wear a mask.

CDT High School Master Class

To kick off the new school year, we have planned a special workshop for the CDT high school classes on Saturday, August 21 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Guest artist Brian Gerke will teach a master class from 9:00 – 11:00 AM (see more info about Brian below). After class, you’ll have an opportunity to talk with CDT alumni who are currently working in dance or other creative fields. These alumni will provide advice and ideas about where your CDT experiences can take you next, and what it’s like to pursue dance as a career. Lunch will be provided.

All CDT dancers entering 10th-12th grade are invited to attend. Please RSVP to this workshop by emailing tannerdance@utah.edu.
