TeacherRebekah Richards
TeacherRebekah Richards began her love for the arts at a young age. She danced at the University of Utah Tanner Dance studio, and was a member of the Children’s Dance Theater for over nine years and performed throughout the Salt Lake region. Miss Bekah’s dance training includes the Virginia Tanner philosophy of nurturing the whole child, and she continues that mindset in all of the classes that she teaches as she carries out her legacy.
Miss Bekah’s interests evolved to also include the visual arts. She is currently studying fine arts with a focus on drawing and painting at Utah Valley University, and will graduate with her Bachelor of Arts degree in the spring.
Miss Bekah’ has volunteered at several children’s programs throughout the Salt Lake Valley. She has assisted at the University of Utah Tanner Dance summer art camps, and at The Children’s Center; an agency specializing in child development and emotional well-being. She has always loved being around children, and we are thrilled that she is a part of the FAP team.
Miss Bekah is a powerhouse of knowledge and we are delighted she has come full circle to share her experiences, knowledge, and passion of the fine arts with the Fine Arts Preschool.
