La Maison des Enfants is a French Immersion preschool and kindergarten program which includes two classrooms. All instruction is given in French and children are divided in groups according to their age. We maintain small group sizes to achieve the best quality of education.

Withdrawal Process
If a withdrawal becomes necessary, a 30-day written notice by a parent/guardian is required. However, there will be no refund of tuition. Any exception to this policy is at the sole discretion of the Tanner Dance director. If you have special circumstances and wish to request a waiver of this policy, please submit a full explanation in writing.
Arrival and Departure
Children need to arrive between 8:30-8:50 a.m. Doors to the building will not unlock until 8:30 a.m. Children arriving after 9:00 a.m. should be escorted into the classroom by an adult. There is no morning care. Please inquire about the after-school hour if you are interested.
Late Pick-Up Fee
It is imperative that students are picked up on time. A late pick-up fee of $15 will be charged after 1:00 p.m. for the Morning Program and 3:00 p.m. for the Extended Day Program, plus an additional $1 per minute after 1:15 p.m. 3:15 p.m. On-going late pick-ups could result in the student's dismissal from the program.
Parking
Parents will be allowed to park in the east Tanner Dance parking lot briefly without a pass for drop off and pickup, limit of 20 minutes. Please be courteous of others also using the lot for other programs. If you are remaining on campus after pick up or drop off, please seek out visitor parking options at commuterservices.utah.edu/permits rather than staying in the Tanner lot. You may be ticketed by parking services if your car is left in the lot for an extended period of time. Pick up for the After-school hour will be outside in the pickup lane situated on Campus Center drive on the east side of the building, at 4:00 pm.

Registration for 2026-2027
We will have an informational meeting for the 2026-2027 school year on January 24 at 4 pm prior to opening applications to the public. It will be held at Tanner Dance 1721 Campus Center Drive, Salt Lake City UT 84112 on the first floor in studio 2.
Registration is competitive, so have your child's identification (birth certificate or passport ID) ready to upload to the application. Make your account prior to registration for the process to move faster. These classes will not be found on Sawyer's explore page and will only be available on this page, January 26th at 10am.
** Important note about applying: You need to pay the $175 application fee and fill out the application form to be accepted into the program. Our acceptance is first-come-first-serve so you need all parts done to be considered.
All children must be toilet trained prior to attending.
