In Motion Dance Company Choreography and Attendance Contract

You must attend every class and rehearsal. Dancers who miss class while new choreography is being set, may or may not be performing that section. Dancers who miss more than the allowed number of absences for a particular dance will become an understudy.

The following does not account for every class date throughout the year. Each class includes technique, creative process, and a review of choreography.

Choreographer #1: Musical Theater with Guest Artist
Rehearsal Dates: August 5-9
Excused Absences: 1

Choreographer #2: Contemporary Jazz with Guest Artist
Rehearsal Dates: Tuesdays, August 20 - September 17
Excused Absences: 1

Student Imrpov + Composition Projects for Momentum Showcase
Dates: Tuesdays, September 24 - October 8 + Saturday, October 5
Excused Absences: 1

Choreographer #3: Contemporary with Tipping Point Senior Intern
Rehearsal Dates: Tuesdays, October 15 - December 3
Excused Absences: 1

Choreographer #4: Contemporary with Diana Timothy
Rehearsal Dates: Tuesdays, February 4 - March 17
Excused Absences: 2

Dancers must attend all rehearsals leading up to the Tipping Point Showcase beginning at the end of April. Dancers who miss multiple rehearsals during this time, may be asked not to perform.
